A TEON heat pump with a thermal power of 82 kW was installed in a class B an apartment building built in the mid-1980s in the western outskirts of Milan. The heat pump replaced a methane-fueled condensing boiler, for the production of heating in the winter season and DHW throughout the year. The intervention was carried out without modifying the existing system, consisting of radiators, and involved the construction of a well for the extraction of groundwater. In the power station, a thermal accumulation has been inserted to allow greater availability of domestic water compared to the previous situation, resulting in the elimination of the methane line. The savings achieved in the first two years of operation stood at 55%. The introduction of the TEON heat pump has also made it possible to eliminate approx. 26 tons/year of CO2 emitted to the condominium chimney.

A TEON model T140 A heat pump has been installed in an apartment building in the city of Novara. The heat pump has a double stage and is optimized to stably produce hot water at temperatures above 70°C with maximum efficiency. In the two cascade circuits, separated by a condenser evaporator, two natural refrigerants (R290 and R600A) are used, each of which operates in its own thermodynamically optimal conditions. The machine is used for the production of heating in the winter season and domestic hot water.

Historic architecture is characterized by low energy inefficiency and high temperature required by their heating systems, with an effect on management costs and the pollution produced. In the context of a prestigious residential complex in the historic center of Turin, two TEON model T250 W machines were installed, serving the heating system of two buildings. The machines are fed with groundwater and produce heating at 70°C serving a system equipped, in part, with cast iron radiators.

Inside a residential complex in Saronno divided into several apartment buildings, and served by a centralized thermal power plant, five TEON models T250 W and T60 W machines were installed, for a total thermal power of 1,060 kW. The heat pumps are fed with groundwater through a well field for extraction and subsequent return and produce hot water between 55° and 75°C to serve the centralized heating and domestic hot water system. The entire condominium has eliminated CO2 emissions on site.

In a quiet residential area near the Janiculum in Rome, inside a residential complex comprised of several buildings, two TEON model T250 G heat pumps have been installed to serve the central heating system. The heat pumps are powered by a geothermal source, through a closed cycle system made up of 33 vertical probes installed beneath the condominium tennis court. The intervention led to the elimination of gas boilers, the elimination of emissions on site, introducing high efficiency heat pumps capable of operating with traditional radiators.

Two TEON reversible heat pumps, model RT60 G, have been installed in a residential complex in Milan consisting of two six-storey buildings. The machines are powered by the geothermal source through a field of probes and offer hot water to the heating system during the winter season; in the summer period they continue the instant production of centralized domestic hot water at a temperature of 55°C and cooling at a temperature of 7°C. The operating logic provides for an alternating priority of the machines for the two services. TEON heat pumps replaced two methane gas boilers.

In a large multi-family villa located in the middle of the Turin hills, two Air air-water heat pumps have been installed to replace a pellet heating power plant. The two TEON heat pumps with a thermal power of 30 kW each were used to produce heating in the winter season and domestic hot water throughout the year. The intervention was carried out without modifying the existing system consisting of radiators serving the rooms of the villa.

Six TEON model T 350 W heat pumps were installed in a large condominium in Milan built in the mid-1950s, consisting of 16 buildings (357 residential units). The new thermal power plant replaced four diesel generators with a total thermal power of 2,400 kW for heating and all the independent boilers for the production of domestic hot water. A new electrical substation allowed the power supply to the new power plant, while the natural source was created through three intake wells and four yield wells in the first aquifer. The heat pumps operate up to 80°C with a sliding temperature, based on climatic conditions. Following the intervention, savings of 58% were recorded and by virtue of the new energy class of the buildings (which went from "G" to "C") each apartment saw its market value increase between 6% and 10%.

In the splendid historic complex on the Isola del Garda, which has recently become touristic and open to the public, three TEON heat pumps models T60 W and RT30 W have been installed, replacing an oil boiler. The building has large heat losses and the heating system consists of traditional radiators. TEON heat pumps therefore offer hot water at 75°C and add cooling production in the tower. The natural source used by heat pumps is lake water.

In an apartment building built in the mid-1960s and made up of 6 apartments for a total useful surface area of approximately 540 m2, a heat pump with a thermal power of 82 kW was installed to replace a methane boiler, for the production of heating in the winter season and DHW throughout the year. The intervention was carried out without modifying the existing system, consisting of radiators, and involved the construction of a domestic well for the exchange of heat with groundwater. The introduction of a heat pump made it possible to eliminate approx. 21 tons/year of CO2 emitted to the condominium chimney. This resulted in a recovery of two energy classes of the entire building. Economic benefits: a 39% reduction in running costs of the current boiler was achieved.

In a large residential complex in San Benigno Canavese in the province of Turin, consisting of 38 real estate units, a TEON model T350 G heat pump was installed to serve the centralized heating and domestic hot water system. The condominium had a thermal power plant consisting of a methane boiler that generated a total power of 426kW for heating production alone, while autonomous boilers were present for DHW. The new heat pump is powered by a geothermal source offered through 27 closed-cycle probes, 130 meters deep. Hot water production reaches 80°C
