The installation of this TEON Double-Stage heat pump at the aqueduct operated by a primary utility in northern Italy involves the use of water tapped through a manifold from the aqueduct’s primary circuit and a complete return by means of overpressure pumps at temperatures below 3 °C. It is an installation serving two coupled buildings, workshop and warehouse, whose volume is about 4,000 cubic meters. Previously, such spaces were heated with a natural gas boiler. Thermal energy in winter is delivered at temperatures ranging from 70°C to 80°C. The terminals inside consist of: – fan coils in office areas – radiators in locker rooms, bathrooms, showers and common areas – radiators in warehouse areas.
